DESCRIPTION:

Florfenicol is a synthetic broad-spectrum antibiotic. The active ingredient florfenicol is active against many gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria isolated from domestic animals. It acts by inhibiting bacterial protein synthesis.

INDICATIONS:

Flor-4 is indicated for the treatment of infections caused by E. coli and Salmonella in poultry. Flor-4 premix is also indicated for the treatment of infections caused by commonly isolated pathogens involved in swine respiratory disease, including Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae, Pasteurella multocida, Salmonella cholera, and Streptococcus suis type 2 in pigs.

DOSAGE & ADMINISTRATION:

Treatment: 250-500 gm per ton of feed.
